[EN] This is not happening because I wouldn’t have hundreds of things to write about or the time to ‘distill’ articles. [RO] Aceasta nu se întâmplă pentru că n-aş avea sute de lucruri despre care să scriu sau timp să ‘distilez’ articole.
[EN] I can’t help it; it’s just a natural evolution… or regression?! [RO] N-am ce-i face; este o evoluţie naturală… sau un regres?!
[EN] No less than 15 of what-I-thought-to-be important articles of the past year have remained ‘barely noticed’ by my few readers. [RO] Nu mai puţin de 15 din ceea-eu-credeam-a-fi articole importante din ultimul an au rămas ‘de-abia remarcate’ de puţinii mei cititori.
[EN] On the other hand, that’s perfectly explainable: I’m not a ‘commercial blogger’, nor I will ever be. [RO] Pe de altă parte, este perfect explicabil: nu sunt un ‘blogger comercial’, nici nu voi fi vreodată.
[EN] I can’t write about the very popular petty nothings that draw hundreds of comments in the blogosphere. [RO] Nu pot scrie despre foarte popularele meschine nimicuri care atrag sute de comentarii în blogosferă.
[EN] Nor could I change my outlook on life which is at odds with the humanist values that are so fashionable today. [RO] Nici nu mi-aş putea schimba viziunea de viaţă care este în răspăr cu valorile umaniste atât de la modă azi.
[EN] Tackling ‘hard issues’ can be tiresome and counterproductive in a world that’s permanently mesmerized by vanities. [RO] Abordarea ‘subiectelor grele’ poate fi obositoare şi contraproductivă într-o lume mereu hipnotizată de deşertăciuni.
[EN] Therefore, I will keep posting (mainly) pictures for a while… then I’ll (very possibly) reduce the number of posts. [RO] Aşadar, voi posta (mai ales) fotografii pentru o vreme.... apoi (foarte posibil) voi reduce numărul postărilor.
[EN] I can only hope that – either through pics or words – this blog actually ‘says something’ and is not just a blister of vain glory. [RO] Pot doar spera că – fie prin vorbe sau imagini – acest blog chiar ‘spune ceva’ şi nu e doar o băşică de slavă deşartă.
[EN] Maybe – just maybe – I will more often transgress the general ‘life in the UK’ theme, and annoy less with ‘sad truths’. [RO] Şi poate – numai poate – voi încălca mai des tema generală ‘viaţa în UK’ şi voi irita mai puţin cu ‘adevăruri triste’.
[EN] Apart from some 7,000 from the UK, I’ve got pics from the USA, China, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Greece, Turkey etc... and Romania. [RO] În afara a vreo 7,000 din UK, am poze din SUA, China, Spania, Portugalia, Italia, Franţa, Grecia, Turcia etc... şi Romania.
[EN] These are the countries where I took most (some 18,000) of the over 28,000 pictures that I have stored so far. [RO] Acestea sunt ţările unde am făcut cele mai multe (vreo 18,000) dintre cele peste 28,000 fotografii pe care le-am stocat până acum.
