[EN] This is an island (generically part of the Scottish Highlands) I have wished to visit for a long time, and a destination that I am recommending although I haven’t been there.

[RO] Aceasta este o insulă (generic parte din Scottish Highlands) pe care mi-am dorit să o vizitez de multă vreme şi o destinaţie pe care o recomand chiar dacă nu am fost acolo.

[EN] The biggest and most northernly island of the Inner Hebrides is a scarcely populated corner of paradise.

[EN] Apart from modern roads and vehicles, internet & contemporary consumer goods that people there use, the place is unspoilt by civilisation.

[EN] The images taken on a winter day (by my reader C.L.) may not fully show it, but this is one of the ‘most romantic castles’ in Scotland.

[RO] Imaginile într-o zi de iarnă (de cititoarea mea C.L.) poate că nu o arată deplin, dar aceasta este unul dintre ‘cele mai romantice castele’ din Scoţia.

[EN] Built in early 13th century, its name honors a Celtic saint – St. Donnán of Eigg – being another piece of evidence about Scotland/UK’s rich (Orthodox) Christian heritage.

[RO] Construit la început de secol 13, numele său onorează un sfânt celt – St. Donnán of Eigg – fiind o altă dovadă despre bogata moştenire creştin (ortodoxă) a Scoţiei/UK.

Chestii d-astea, numai la britanici (25) [Things like these, only at the Brits]

Acest “Atenţie! Trec răţuşte!” este, probabil, unul dintre cele mai simpatice semne de circulaţie din lume. Şi unde altundeva decât în UK ne-am aştepta să-l întâlnim?

Poate or mai fi şi în alte locuri, dar acesta provine de undeva pe drumul dintre Fort William (despre care oi scrie cândva) şi Isle of Skye (un soi de dream destination enumerată aici).

Nici de data, imaginea nu a fost surpinsă de mine, ci de către cititoarea acestui blog C.L., care a devenit, practic, o colaboratoare :-)

Din câte se vede, tot cu o admiratoare a Scoţiei avem de-a face… Aşa se întâmplă că pe cei care se aseamănă, îi adună Dumnezeu, fie şi numai online.
